EAgQOYH.gif Unlike Celeste and Kelvhan, Cursed wasn’t born inside of Blight’s Bane. His life began in the Shadowbinder’s realm as an abandoned egg. When born, his first clan tried and tried to help him, but the spitfire of a dragonet refused, insisting that there was nothing to help with. He hated the pity the other dragons looked down upon him with, and so he left, despite being only a few months old. Cursed ended up in the Flamecaller’s realm, wandering the Ashfall Waste bitterly. That is, until he met another skydancer who called herself Dawnwinter. She invited him back to her clan, and Cursed, not knowing how to respond to her kindness, accepted. He stayed there, within the Wishing Stars Clan, for a short time, but he could tell the other dragons thought of him as an outsider. Thus, he asked Dawnwinter to run away with him, far from the prying eyes of other dragons. After much consideration, she finally said yes, and the two slipped away into the night, never to be seen again.

Crossing the Sea of a Thousand Currents, they looked for a safe place to land and start a family. Though they were both revolted by the Plaguebringer, they took what they could get and landed, directly in the middle of Blight’s Bane. Learning that they were now trapped here did nothing to soothe Cursed’s paranoia concerning the opinions of other dragons, and it quickly drove him into seclusion.
