Himalaya was only a hatchling of a few days when she was thrown into the harsh world by virtueless parents, alone and incapable of defending herself. The clan, having many kind dragons, took the poor baby under their wings. Although ostensibly reserved and quiet her first few days in her new home, they soon discovered this was not the case. She was actually energetic, curious, and somewhat obnoxious to take care of. She grew close with another orphaned dragon by the name of Glacier, and they enjoyed each other’s company well into adulthood. However, after her dear sister’s departure and later exaltation, Himalaya’s temperament changed; the other dragons who knew her could not say if it was for better or for worse.

She felt alone, just like her first few days out in the wilderness as a child, with a void next to her side that she believed could never be filled again. The young dragon felt the need to compensate in other ways, and compensate she did. She took an interest in and excelled at physical activities like combat, much to the surprise of the other dragons. However, she was also quite rebellious and hot-headed, making her the subject of many heated arguments. She developed a grudging respect for the Clan Matriarch, Sorceress. Despite their closer history, they were not without their more hostile days. Sorceress tried to guide the younger dragon throughout her life, though it would often end poorly; she would offer her advice whenever Himalaya would feel lost, but the younger dragon would end up disregarding the sage’s “garbage fortune-teller shenanigans” in favor for her own beliefs.

Despite her age and stubborn attitude, this feisty dragon has proven to be filled with potential, fighting tooth and claw for status in her group. Sorceress has entrusted her as leader of all of the hunting expeditions. She’s also the most ferocious Coliseum fighter of the clan, having been the first to have learned Eliminate and training day and night in order to prove herself. Desperate to detach herself from the stereotypes of Skydancers, she sought and obtained a Ridgeback breed-change scroll and has not regretted her choice. Even with her lofty ambitions for leadership and resounding reputation, she still has concealed within her a softer side, holding back childhood sensitivities. The other dragons of the lair have learned not to discuss exaltation when Himalaya is around.
