Asta, a single and healthy Fire Imperial (from BaghDze #237426), met two other Imperials when she left home, an Ice Imperial female named Ari and a Plague Imperial male named Akila. The three of them became close friends as they traveled together.
One night while they were sleeping they were set upon by Shade infected beasts; weeks later when they woke something was wrong, they were all stuck together, their minds confused with vague memories of their names and lives before, mixed with a mindless hunger urging them to hunt. During one such attack on a Longneck village a strong Gladiator named Granite fought them and for some reason his attack alone stopped them, shocking them into stillness. His dominance over them was clear, he said to lay down or follow or settle down and they obeyed as if his will was theirs. The remaining Longneck villagers wanted the Emperor destroyed but he convinced them to leave it be, they didn't know what they had done and he felt it would be cruel to punish them as their minds are child-like and innocent despite the horrors they can do.
To keep the village safe Granite took them away, intending to live in the wilderness as far from any civilization as possible. But feeding the Emperor turned out to be very difficult, they were always hungry. Traveling to a Nature area in the hopes of finding more prey he hid them and told them to stay, he had become attached to the now simple-minded trio and wanted them to be safe, and he went hunting. He was spotted by a scout from the local Nature Clan, the female Pearlcatcher Maerwynn, and when she discovered his horrendous companion she called the other guards; in a panic they tried to attack it but Granite managed to calm them by demonstrating his power over the trio.
The Clan Leaders, Shara and Dagar, were very wary about having an Emperor in their territory let alone on Sornieth to begin with, but Granites impassioned plea for mercy moved them and the rest of the Clan and they allowed him to stay, on the condition that if he ever started to lose control, even the smallest bit, that they would leave and go as far from any clan or village as was physically possible and he agreed. Since then he and the trio have lived on the outskirts of the Clan but so far he's proven able to keep them calm and relatively safe; those in the Clan have noticed over the time they've been there that the Emperor seems to have genuine affection for their 'warden'.
Asta, the middle head, still seems to have some intelligence and awareness of her surroundings compared to the other two. Ari, the right head, sometimes cries blood-red tears despite her current emotions. Akila, the left head, is the most aggressive of the three, usually responding to commands by growling, although he obeys. Their nickname is Triple A.
They've recently gained a new Emperor, Legion. No one is sure where they came from other than a Light territory; all three heads have Light eyes. They seem slightly more intelligent overall when compared to AriAstaAkila, and at first Granite was worried they would be a problem but thankfully his good luck with Triple A is holding and Legion listens to him as well. So far the Clan Leaders are allowing Legion to stay but it's contingent on the same things agreed on for AriAstaAkila.
When word reached the Clan of Luminax's existence, Granite got paranoid. Luminax is wreaking havoc in the Light territories and he didn't want his charges to be seen as monsters as well, so he's taken them into a nice hiding spot in the Clan lands, making sure no one visiting the Clan will blab about them.
An Imperial female named Tsisana arrived in the Clan and when she found out there were Emperors living there she hunted them down. Granite was worried but it turned out she only wanted to see them; he warned her to keep away for her own safety. But she kept coming back day after day and eventually he realized his charges tolerated and even liked her, so now she helps him tend to them.
