Witnesses of the statue report being overcome with a pronounced sense of regret, and have trouble even touching the statue without breaking down into tears. Even animals seem to avoid the statue, with the exception being a single raven that perches atop the statue. Rumors say that the noble who lived in the mansion went into hiding because he managed to turn his daughter into gold with a cursed artifact and the statue is his actual daughter. That is why many people are overcome by grief upon being near the statue; It's the remorse of the father, and feeling of betrayal from the daughter. Nearby locals believe that the raven is a grim reaper that is unable to guide the daughter to the afterlife because she has become immortal, but stuck as a statue. The raven has been nicknamed the Reaper, and some people come by to give it offerings of food so that it may continue to keep the poor girl company.
