While most of the Elementals pride themselves on their strength and fighting ability, Zephyr is the brains of the group. While he may not be as experienced as an older dragon like Glacier, he is quick thinking when he needs to be, and spends a lot of his off-time reading. If someone’s going to notice a weakness in another’s fighting style, or in the opponent, you can probably put your money in it being Zephyr.

The coatl used to set his paws into battle, too, before an unexpected hiccup in the magic barrier let Forrest slip his way out of his prison. The same fight that took Oat’s wing and tail destroyed Zephyr’s face, confining him to his mask. He despises wearing the thing, often complaining that it itches or it’s pulling on his fur or feathers, but his own reflection in a mirror has scared himself, and he’s not about to put another dragon through that.

If Oat is the earth their paws stand on, Zephyr is the sky and the breeze in their wings. If given the choice, he would much rather be up in the air than with his paws on the ground. In the air, he’s fast and agile, and is trying to learn some basic stunts to impress hatchlings and visitors staying in the Clan. So far he’s only dislocated his wing once, and fallen out of the sky four times.
