Shoubu
he/him
Shoubu was a Coatl that never learned how to Coatl.
Raised by a clan of Maren warriors in the depths of the Sea Of A Thousand Currents, the closest thing he'd ever seen to another dragon were the plentiful axolotls the clan raised to sell as pets.
He saw them as family.
One day, a clan of waterborn Coatls came to trade with the beastclan, and Shoubu caught eye of them. Unfamiliar with Coatl society and language, he attempted to communicate with them in the little Maren he knew.
Unconvinced, the dragons left without him.
After that day, he was determined to find other Coatls.
Packing up what little he owned, he said goodbye to his Maren home and left for Light territories, teaching himself to hunt on land, to fly, and to fish.
After years of searching, he came across a small clan, mostly composed of other Coatls; his ideal home.
He hasn't left since.
