Biography
disoriented spirit for her familiar.
Main Theme:Ghost
On cold nights in this odd land, one could swear to hear whispers of revenge, anger, and betrayal. It could be chalked up to the fact that that’s just because of the clan’s sketchy past, but If you wander for too long you’ll start to see things. First just lights, which seem to be fireflies, but soon become clear there are whisps. Next, spirits. You may think this is bad, oh no. When Fantasma shows herself, that’s when it’s curtains for you. Her spirits, called from her wings, are what lull you. Like most faes in this clan, she’s huge. She wasn’t always, but she is now. She’ll pull you close, her beauty present even in death, but then her pupils will shrink. They’ll take on rage, and she’ll rip your heart out.
Fantasma is a ghost brought on by Mara. Mara had the clan’s necromancer prove himself, and he summoned the fae. Mara was disappointed to find the necromancer’s skills were not like Eerie’s. It brought her soul back to her body, but it didn’t properly heal the wounds that killed her. It caused Fantasma to be able to exit and enter her body at will. at first, Fantasma seemed a friendly specter much to Mara’s disappointment. Soon she bared her fangs. the graveyard got more and more full, bodies piling up and no one knowing where they came from. Fantasma had been lulling in dragons near the border to Hades, and stealing their souls. She’d ditch bodies in the graveyard, and make sure they didn’t look too out of place. Fantasma kept the secret going for a while, just because she didn’t want to have to do anything. Soon Mara found out, by bothering the new undertaker who had helped keep her secret hidden. Fantasma wasn’t happy, simply telling Mara she didn’t want to do anything anymore. Mara let it slid for a little, but soon pulled rank. She scared the ghost into doing what she wanted, but Fantasma made sure to do it in a way that inconvenience Mara every second of every day. Fantasma had her reasons, and it had to do with her death. She didn’t die in a normal way, whence why her body was of a young adolescent instead of an adult dragon. She was murdered, and by someone, she trusted most. It’s mainly why she doesn’t trust anyone no matter who or what they are. She was heir to a kingdom, a nice one. It had few enemies who posed a threat, and its allies were doing well enough that rebelling was both suicide and unwise. Fantasma had a different name at the time, one she’s chosen to forget.
Any time an uprising in the outer walls of the kingdom, Fantasma handled it. She wasn’t just a smart warrior, she was smart as well. She was given the best tutors and all the books she could want. To make her even more impressive, she was gorgeous. She was envied and beloved by all. Everything in her life was perfect. She had a darling little brother, who was her whole world. Since they lost their father at a young age, she made sure to look after him. The knights in the kingdom did their best to teach him about being a man, but he learned most from Fantasma. She was amazing at teaching him, and he was growing to be a fine young man. That was until a curse befell their family. It was from a wizard whose family had been slaughtered by the Queens forced, lead by Fantasma. He claimed his family had no intention to fight, and wanted to be given their bodies and a large sum of gold to give them a proper burial. If he wasn’t given what he was asked, then the Queen’s family would suffer the same fate, or so the wizard claimed. He was thrown out for acting like a loon. Soon though the curse began to work its way in. It started small, things breaking around Fantasma and her family, but soon Fantasma had night terrors. She’d see her own skeleton in the mirror, hear eerie whispering whenever she was alone, and even a bloody dagger looming over her bed.
While Fantasma had these kinds of terrors, her brother was shown and tormented a different way. He’d hear his sister speak about him, saying awful things. He’d hear voices telling him he should rule, and slowly he was corrupted. Their mother fell ill from the curse, so ill a new ruler was needed. Fantasma was next in line, and the best choice, but her brother was suddenly outraged. He began to scheme about killing her, and on the day of her coronation, he stabbed her in the head, scarring left eye and killing her. Fantasma then woke up before Mara, dead. This is why Fantasma acts as she does. She tries to kill those who act like her brother, nothing but hatred left for him. Whiners, whimps, and cowards should beware going to Hades, lest Fantasma see her brother in you, and end your life.
