Hyurann
|| Advisor of Magic & Arcane Ambassador ||
"Tell me something I don't already know."

Hyurann is one of Darkmoon's offsprings. She's the younger of the two that stayed in the clan.

Her mother held the position of Advisor of Magic and Arcane Ambassador before her. She was also a powerful shadow mage with the blessing of the Arcanist. She taught her and her siblings the arcane arts, their world's history and many legends and myths of Sornieth.

Her mother once warned her of the power held in True Names, and that to know one's own Name, they had to appeal to their deity.

Hyurann, with a child's purest curiosity, called the Icewarden in the middle of the night. Not getting an answer, she went to sleep dejected. When she woke, she remembered faintly a dream of the bluest ice and a cold voice. She knew it said her True Name. Just as she knew she wasn't ready to hear it yet.

Soon after becoming an adult, her mother tested her on everything she had learned until that point. The results seemed to satisfy her strict parent, for she gave her a genuine, yet sad, smile.

The next day, her mother and siblings said their farewell and left, never to return.

Her father then took charge of her education. Once he was satisfied she had a sense of affairs and diplomacy, he gave her her mother's arcanic blessing in apparel form. He also admitted why her mother had left: she felt she was no longer needed, that Hyurann was so much more talented but couldn't bloom whilst under her wing.

Hyurann was very conflicted about the whole thing. She remembered all those nights her mother told her long lost myths and recalled one that stood out: the power of Names. She looked into the cold night and asked the Icewarden her Name once more. As she woke up, she still couldn't recall the sounds of her Name, but she understood it. "Colour of the Clan's Spirit". It didn't make much sense, but she knew she had a role to play in the clan, and she would do her best.

Hyurann is very introverted and doesn't have many interactions outside of her small family and her job.

Hyurann values knowledge and collects it without discrimination on it's nature. From children's tales to the newest discovery, she'll take it.
