Haribert Goldenfang, elder cleric of the Morning Rose Tribe and mentor to Claudia Bloodplume, scribe and novice priestess, albeit he didn't quite start off as the ecclesiastical type.

Haribert was born and raised in the Sunbeam ruins, yes, like any other Light dragon, and later in his life, he left for the Starfall Isles to seek wisdom, as well as how to reach full potential with his magic.
It was there that he joined a mixed clan and met a lovely Pearlcatcher by the name of Lumen. Lumen was serene, wise, and hard-working, but had a bit of fire to her linked to her built-in pride. Haribert soon found himself fancying the Pearlcatcher, and she herself found his ambition and passion endearing, to which they hastily wed.
As the two expanded their family and studied more of magic, the years marched on, and while quite late in their lives, Haribert and Lumen both realized, much to their sadness...there was a rift growing between them, and they don't know how or why they got as far as they did...everything from their youths...it was a hasty and passion-filled rush of putting their sageliness aside for the sake of a mutual puppy love, to which they were convinced it was true romance given their young ages at the time.
One day, it became too much to bear, and the couple separated. Despair-filled, Haribert marched back home, the only thing he really knew that was left. He couldn't bear to stay in the Starfall Isles, anymore. Too many memories, too many reminders of how rash and starry-eyed he was as a young adult.
Haribert has since re-dedicated himself to serving the Light flight, deeply delving into the spiritual aspects of his birth flight as it's provided a source of comfort for him. As he's cooled down significantly since the days of his youth, he's become a very quiet, contemplative individual, no longer focused much on magic and more on preserving and recounting texts if applicable (this task is very difficult without proper hands, yes, but before Claudia arrived, he was a tad too stubborn to hire a scribe and had tried his best with a quill in his mouth all the same). As a healer, he's also since delved into herbalism, though not to the extent as, say, Sarnai or Iris, even if he's fond of nature in a sort of quiet and peaceful walks alone and admiring the scenery sort of way, and prefers the chemistry aspects of medicine-making over the botany parts. Haribert has a deep fascination of knowledge in general, which is what drove him to seek the Starfall Isles in his younger years, something that carries over to his older age. He enjoys the occasional scientific experiment simply for the sake of documenting it in his free time, his journal filled to the brim with notes on all sorts of discoveries or mishaps he's made in various bouts of research.
Since his arrival in the tribe, Haribert's goal has been to keep going forward and improving his heart, mind, soul, and body in whichever ways he can for the remainder of the time he has left on Sorneith, yet he can't help but feel regret for all the impetuous wrong turns he made in his adolescence...for the things he let get out of hand or let go away...and some things he can never truly forgive himself for...
But in the meantime, he does what he can to be better every day.
