Phea shuffles around a bit, clearly unsure of where to begin.
"Do I miss it? Yes, and I get sad sometimes, when I dwell on it. But I'm here for a reason." She pauses, lowering her head, "We all are."
Taking a deep breath, she spreads her wings, the tips almost brushing against the canopy above. And you realise, her wings are semi-transparent, but not in the normal way that some dragons are born with - hers are brittle, and it even looks as though some chunks are missing around the edges.
"It was too dangerous for me back there. Constant splashes and seaspray, even - though it was invigorating when it hit my body, on my wings, it -" She stops, choking back a sob.
"That's my tale." She manages to get the words out before leaving, the traces of a tear starting to run down her cheek.
