 "This dragon is as clever as she is cruel. She stalks the streets shrouded in darkness, her eyes flashing green beneath her hood. Those who catch her piercing gaze know better than to step out of line; it is those who do not who should worry, for she has already judged them and found them wanting. Among the clan’s hatchlings, she is a bogeyman, always lurking just outside their bedroom windows.

All that she does, she does for the clan. She is its staunchest and most fearsome protector, and she is all too happy to bloody her hands for its benefit. Perhaps it is her mercilessness that makes her so well-suited to spying. Remorse is something she has never felt for those who cross her, and so she can dole out punishment time and time again in tireless pursuit of justice.

Yet rarely, one might catch a fleeting glimpse of something warm in her expression. On peaceful days, when the weather is fine, she will sometimes sit in the square and observe her clanmates openly. She does so not to intimidate them, but to bask in their company. She can never be a part of their lives, not living in the shadows as she does, but it is nice to pretend now and again."
