Archaical

They all said it was a gift, his eyes. Said he was blessed by the Arcanist with magical vision, the ability to see magic in the air. No one was saying that when he started to feel pains in his eyes from the sights. Soon, his vision worsened, and he could barely see at all, relying on his siblings to help him. This was not helped by the fact that his body seemed to stop growing at only a few days old.

Archaical is a rather caring dragon, making up for his lack of vision with a great deal of magical ability. He could never fight in combat, he says. He'd probably hit a tree! He seems to try to laugh off his blindness, though there's always a small part of him that wishes he wasn't 'blessed.' Mabe he could have been normal... But he can't change that. Not with all the magic in the world. He always seems to delight in meeting new people, though, even if some are a bit put off by his unusual eyes. He doesn't mind. He understands. Of course he does. Someone has to.
He tends to bring his golem familiar (who he’s nicknamed Teacup) everywhere he goes. Teacup apparently helps lead him around and not slam headfirst into objects.
