Kauno

Kauno name meaning: [Finnish] Derives from the Finnish word, kaunokirjoitus, which translates to the word "calligraphy".

Notes for bio later:
-The Journalist; collects news from other clans and regions through networking with other journalists and documentarists. Tries to remain inside of the Wind region, but may travel outside of the region to document events. (Has gotten into a few mishaps because of this ahah)
-Her mother initially brought Kauno up to succeed her position as enchantress, but after countless of arcane lessons in which Kauno was scolded for being distracted, she realized her daughter's mind and heart lied elsewhere. Once Kauno was old enough and decided to pursue her passion for writing through journalism, Parasvati supported her fully, albeit with some lingering disappointment that she wouldn't take up after her as enchantress.

-Her familiar, Soren, is actually her "partner in crime" in journalism. The two partnered up after Soren helped her escape being captured when she was being chased by warriors of a clan at war. As both were in the land to document the events of the war, they decided it would be more beneficial to stick together for the remainder of their journaling. However, since the two made such great partners and became such fast friends, they decided to team up for good. The rest, as they say, is history.
-Soren is by far the more cautious one of the two, yet to his dismay, his caution does little to reign in Kauno's curiosity and drive to stick her nose where it may not belong...

-Raised under the careful upbringing of her mother and enchantress, Parasvati, it was her mother's attentive nature and clever wit that disciplined Kauno to value those same skills. Too curious for her own good, it is always Parasvati's voice that carries words of caution to the forefront of her mind. "Remember, my child: the water rose up for the Crow to drink as he dropped pebbles in the pitcher one by one*. Do not be hasty; do not allow your heart to cloud your thoughts." Though often enough she must learn lessons the hard way, it is her mother's mindful discipline that has saved her from worse pain/heartache on more than one occasion.
