xxxThough he is elderly, Oswald takes an active role in the clan and takes care to converse with his clanmates daily—often deviating into a story or two from his wayfaring youth. He traveled extensively in his younger days and visited every region of Sornieth at least once before finally returning home to the Windswept Plateau. Oswald documented his experiences thoroughly within several journals embellished with many elegant and carefully drawn diagrams, maps, and sketches.
xxxBeing one of the oldest and most well-traveled dragons in the clan, Oswald is often looked to as a source of wisdom—especially by the Council, though he has little interest in politics. He'd much rather spend his days entertaining the youngsters of the clan with tales of his adventures, and indeed he does.
