Strawberry

I've been around the world and back! Raised in the care of Koisticks (#72252) I went out and saw it all. Here are some of my finest tales. . .

July 2014: Strawberry did most of his growing up in the Clan of the Slumbering wood (47970), where he learned the ways of the Light, remaining long enough to come into his own as a proud adult pearlcatcher. Cadge, another adopted member of the clan, noticed his good looks, but their romance was not to be. Their nest hatched just as a battle erupted between Light and Shadow, and Strawberry left his adopted clan rather than fight against his kin.

August 3, 2014: In his effort to run away from a Light lair, Strawberry ended up right back in one! The Light dragons welcomed him, though. They even gifted him with some Forest Green Wing Wraps. The next day, while the dragons were busily training to join the Lightweaver, Strawberry slipped out of the lair to (hopefully) journey out of Light territory.

August 16, 2014: A wrong turn left Strawberry venturing further into the Sunbeam Ruins, where he was taken in by an adventurous clan of Light dragons. He attempted to sneak out in the night but found himself in a spiral cuddle pile, and accidentally befriended them. Though they hated to see him go, the spirals understood that Strawberry wanted to leave the Light lands. They gifted him Forest Green Arm Wraps and let him go on his way.

August 18, 2014: By now it may seem that Strawberry is some what directionally challenged, as his journey from away from his new friends threw him even further into the Sunbeam Ruins. The dragons of Parthenon Hill (47073) welcomed him, and the resident empath Dionysus happily agreed to share his small corner of the clan's lair. Parthenon Hill's guardian and leader Elliot even gifted Strawberry a pair of Copper Steampunk Spats that he had long since outgrown. Now feeling quite confident that he would indeed find his way out of the Sunbeam Ruins, Strawberry parted with the dragons of Parthenon Hill, who would never forget him.

August 23, 2014: It seemed impossible, and even a little dangerous, but Strawberry has finally left the Sunbeam Ruins, and is now continuing his journey in the Ashfall Waste. Finding a fire lair wasn't so hard, but the heat of lava and fire are stronger than the heat of light. The Flamel's Lair's dragons welcomed Strawberry a little too warmly, and have been very friendly. Of course, there's also the leader who wasn't too happy about this new member at first, but has been made to keep his words to himself by his mother, Niji. Over all, the lair has been a welcome change after the Light lairs, but Strawberry feels it's his time to move on.

September 2, 2014: Strawberry has spent his time as a guest within the briny depths of the Leviathan Trench, but he's eager to hop out of the water for a bit and explore again. Though the former matriarch was interested in keeping Strawberry within the clan from how much she'd warmed up to him, the icy current matriarch gave a blessing of safe travel to Strawberry as it felt too cruel to watch him leave without a blessing.

September 3, 2014: Maybe Strawberry has gone TOO far from the Sunbeam Ruins. He has found himself in the Tangled Wood with a wide variety of strange Shadow dragons. The first he befriends is a Snapper girl named Fafnir, who has been lonely too long protecting her friends in the battle after battle, and was happy to have Strawberry warm her nest for a while.

September 23, 2014: Strawberry arrived to find most of the Clan of the Spooner inebriated - as far as these rowdy dragons were concerned, an Arcane party was somehow a Lightning party as well. They were more than happy to catalog the Pearlcatcher's extensive wardrobe, and even gave Strawberry an accent (Starfall Spell!) that they claimed would make him 'strawberry-er'. Feeling more than a little guilty at the lavish treatment he was getting, Strawberry decided it was probably best to leave before he completely drained the clan's coffers.

September 29, 2014: Strawberry found his way into a large Plague clan. He was accepted happily into the clan of misfits. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there. CodeOfArms and her dragons were very welcoming. He was treated kindly and the others were happy to befriend him. He fell in love with the ridgeback, Mystical, even if just for a moment. He is happy to have joined for even a short time.

September 30, 2014: Strawberry stopped by another Plague den full of crazy dragons who had taken into their heads to get back in touch with nature and give themselves a chance to redesign their image by going without clothes or skins for a week. Strawberry was, he had to admit, a little intrigued by the idea. Besides, his clothes kind of needed a wash anyway. He joined the hippies in their quest for rediscovery and left the clan a wiser and more thoughtful Pearlcatcher.
