Harvest is more familiar with the fine line between life and death than most dragons. To him, death is not the end, but the beginning of something new. Many dragons who are old or sick don't fear him. In fact, they welcome him, for he helps ease their passage from his life into the next.

He also has the ability to speak with departed souls. Some of them have unfinished business, so he'll help them accomplish what they need to. Others have relatives that wish to speak to them, and Harvest will guide that conversation. When his own time comes, he will pass on his gifts to another.
