What if he got started on his sort of vendetta/mission fighting emperors because he and his clanmates (all of them or some of them or whatever) were in some sort of battle and they were losing, and a bunch of the Imperials were killed, and they fused into an emperor that, as emperors do, mindlessly attacked everything, both the enemy and their own clanmates (if any were still alive), and Perseus was forced to fight and kill it for the greater good?? And then, since all his clanmates were dead (those that formed the emperor and those killed by it), he took it upon himself to make sure others weren't hurt by rampaging emperors??

His favorite food includes small delicate fish like minnows, and and sour berries. It's off for an Imp his size, but he takes pleasure in the small things in life. That being said, if he gets hungry, he'd have no issues with eating something the size of an elephant.
Perseus' opal acts as a sort of natural extra layer of armor, given how tough it is. It's never been broken yet, only cracked (during his Emperor fight), and unfortunately it hurts like hell when it's hot hard enough due to the nerves this opal has. But, still, better this than soft scales.
Perseus is a serious type of dragon, but a kind one. He won't say no if you ask him for help but also doesn't go out of his way to try and help every dragon he meets. He wants to focus on his training, and learning all he can about enemy weaknesses and strategies.
