Borealis was born into a Nature-based clan, and still finds herself (and her magic) more drawn to her natural surroundings than anything else. As soon as she was old enough to strike out on her own, she did, making it her life goal to travel the entire realm of Sornieth. It was on her way back through the Tangled Wood that she approached by Kayhen, whom she had met earlier on her travels.

Borealis is never in one place for long. As the official courier of the Snakebite Clan, she's constantly flying around, delivering messages and picking up orders. She doesn't usually have a lot to say, but if she gets going there's really no stopping her.

Like all Pearlcatchers, she treasures her pearl above all else- at least, that’s what I’ve gathered from our few conversations. Thought, I’ve never seen her pearl. I wonder what happened to it..?

EDIT: She definitely doesn't have it. Maybe that's why she's here--I wouldn't put it past Kayhen to...

Well, having lost her pearl explains why Borealis dresses the way she does. She covers up as many of her scales as she can, like she doesn't wants to be as anonymous as possible while traveling around. I hear she found that mask during her first Festival with us and hasn't taken it off since.
