Biography
>Daughter of Ezlio and Laraquae
Sister of Sagara
Half-Sister of Vadalis, Mirani, Frogbit, Celandine, Eros, and Anteros
Mate of Typhon
Mother of Valkur and Umberlee
Once the pupil of Witch, the mirror disowned Morgana after the second wave of the Wyrmfever. That said, Morgana is now officially a full-fledged shaman in her own right. No longer a pupil, she's know as the Witch's Eye. She now has two apprentices of her own: Parvo and Ruby.
Fell in love with Typhon, snuck past Quarantine to see him. Caught the Wyrmfever in the process, managed to hide symptoms for a long time, took herbal remedies to suppress the disease. Finally collapsed from disease complications, started to spread another wave of the Wyrmfever through the clan.
She was no fool, not known for flights of fancy or running in without thinking. The cost had been measured, the risk deemed acceptable.
Her sickness now was the price to pay for her decisions- kept at bay with herbs and supplements. She hid its presence, masked its signs.
Morgana knew they had no cure for the Old Plague, only ways to slow it down, stop it from spreading. She still had things to finish... she could not let her half-siblings bring her home to ruin while their mother, the matriarch, withered away bit more each day.
Sagara, the passionate and determined, yet unwilling to face the truth and change that the future brought.
Vadalis, the wily and ambitious, yet vain and too proud to accept anything less than his ideal.
Mirani, the foreseeing and benevolent, yet under the control of her mother and unwilling to fight for her beliefs.
Frogbit, alone and forgotten- the reason Morgana got involved in this mess in the first place.
And then there was Melody, similar to Mirani, trapped in the grasp of another, used as a means to the end, readily discarded once her she is useful no more.
Of course, Morgana knew the shy, kindly pearlcatcher better than the others. She and Melody had become sisters of bond, not blood. Only Melody knew of Morgana's sickness, was able to help hide it from the others.
The gifted apprentice
Morgana never planned to get into the maelstrom of politics that her siblings were embroiled in. All she wanted was to continue to learn magic from the Witch, as she had often dreamed of as a child. The Witch had no qualms about that. It was when Morgana watched her half-sister approach the Witch in tears, trading her own name and identity just so that she could be left alone and not forced to choose a side in all the drama, that Morgana realized it was never an option for her to remain on the outside. She could not wait and watch those in the clan who just wished to live their own lives be turned against one another at the whims and direction of her other half-siblings. She would stand against her siblings in lieu of those who could not.
