"I’ll love you like my own." Radix never felt... Right. Growing up as a Guardian was tough for her. She found her Charge early in life; a sickly fawn without a mother. Radix tried desperately to nurture the fragile little thing, but to no avail; she lost her Charge almost as soon as she found it. She didn’t feel life was worth living anymore, but the soul of her birth Flight made her hold on long enough to seek guidance from the great Glademother. Saddened by the plight of one of her children, the Glademother gave Radix the choice to undergo a transformation other dragons go through seeking change. Radix accepted without hesitation. Both to Radix and the Glademother’s surprise, Radix’s new form was that of a Gaoler, a creature the Glademother only heard of in whispers. Radix felt it fitting, being something few dragons understood, let alone knew about. Intrigued, the Glademother gave Radix an egg without parentage, to see what would come of it. Radix never thought herself to be a mother, but she took to the responsibility with ease, and hatched Warren not weeks later. Together, the two Gaolers would learn from each other as any parent and child would, and to originating Gaoler’s disbelief. Breezemarsh: Donec lacinia felis et dictum placerat.
