Biography
“I come from lands far from here and seen forests only in dreams…”
As one of the first members of the clan, nobody knows exactly why Seraphim chose to end his journeys in Singer's Brook. However, when asked, he simply responds with "the whole world cannot be a single dragon's home" and to most, that is clear enough.
However, Seraphim did not take shelter in Singer's Brook just to retire in his mid-ages, and to end his mobile lifestyle. He was born a traveler. As a busy body, and became the clan's merchant- traveling both short and long distances across Sornieth to deliver, sell and advertise goods. His trips can be days, and they can be months, and whenever he returns he's always a little baffled by how his clan has changed.
After each trip, he takes a little sum of the money for himself. That's why he's one of the richer dragons. He also tells hatchlings of his adventures, usually most are fibs and adult dragons roll their eyes at him.
Personality:
As mentioned, he is a busy body and a hard worker. He goes through great lengths to provide for his clan, and be a role model for younger members. His work ethic is part of his moral code and beliefs, that the only way to cause change is to keep working to change and become better. He also is quite flirty with the lady dragons in his clan, especially after long trips. Some of the ladies appreciate this, like Lux, and some have made it clear they aren't interested, like Tanzanite, and he leaves them alone.
While dragons like Placidity are like the "ok boomer" equivalent to hatchlings, Seraphim is a lot more chill and considered cool by the youngsters. This is because he fibs a lot and they are gullible. Despite being quite traditional as a dragon, he's very creative and this shows in his lies (I mean you have to be a bit of a liar as the salesdragon of the clan).

"The treasure that I got this time was because I fought an Emperor as large as an island! One of the heads was a former king, and had treasure carved in his insides!"
"I one time had a conversation with the Windsinger himself when I traveled from place to place. We had some tea, and he proclaimed that "no wonder we crossed paths so fatefully! The two of us together is a par-tea!"
He is a little manipulative, albeit not in a necessarily harmful way. He uses it mostly for his business, understanding how people work and turning their heads for his products.
