Main Theme: Rise Up!

______ Sirius loved her wife, loved her more than she could ever possibly put into words. There was only one thing that could even threaten that stability that she so craved: the venue tours. Of course, for the first month after coming to Lightfall, Canis and Sirius stayed close. Stayed close together looking at the stars and getting used to their new home. But after that month passed, Sirius was soon recruited. Recruited to go on a few tours to other venues, to battle and fight and come home scarred. Scarred, but richer and satisfied. The main thing that persuaded her to go was the promise that she could find her wife beautiful things, lovely things to decorate their own little corner of the clan with. After all, they were newcomers, very little to call their own, even fewer things to call their collective own. So Sirius was persuaded. And oh, what beautiful treasures did she bring home. Wavespun cloth to submerge in water and soft pink silks to decorate her lovers body. Pretty bouquets of flowers and hilarious stories to fill the night time of embarrassing defeats. Interesting stories of taking down Beast clan tribes and battling bosses larger than an Imperial. It was pure devotion at first. But not at the end of it. She got closer with her allies on the field, Cocheta and Egg. Not close in the way that Canis would be jealous. But close enough for Sirius to spend more time in the venues.

______ Cocheta was a special case, far more special than Egg was. Though that wasn’t to say that Sirius didn’t love Egg the same, she did, she swears. But oh Cocheta...oh that lovely, beautiful, battle-scarred Spiral that had patched her up after every fight. Sirius had a strict line of importance of her loves in life. Going from most to least, it was: Canis, Melody, Cocheta, Egg, rest of the clan. She loved Canis and Melody like a wife should love her lover and daughter. But Cocheta, she loved like she respected the clan leader. Sirius wanted Cocheta to train her, to give her special attention and let her in on all of the tricks of the trade. Of how to fight without losing stamina, fight harder and longer. It was truly inspiring how Cocheta could destroy enemies in a single blow, in a calculated strike of her claws. But there was also Egg, and her galaxy. The crackling galaxy that matched the fire in her eyes. Oh, watching them fight was an epiphany captured in a moment. But there was more than fighting to Sirius’s life. After all, she put her wife and (hopeful) daughter above her trainers. There was a fierce devotion to her, to the flash of her eyes when she paced outside of their shelter. Of the growl that built up in her throat as she faced down Talona-sent spies who crowed about taking hatchlings. Sirius would die to protect Canis and Melody, but she hopes she will never have to. After all, who would want to leave their life partner alone?
