It is said that if you bring Aroa three birdskulls and a handful of feathers she will tell you anything you wish to know about the past, present or future. Many dragons have heard this old tale and travel great distances in search of the fabled Aroa, keeper of time. Her name is like the common cold, nearly every dragon has heard snippets of stories told of her. But be warned that once Aroa has uttered a single word pertaining to one of your many futures, it is set in stone. Dozens of dragons have paid for their greed for knowledge of the future with their blood. Aroa isn't a bad dragon, in fact, she believes she is helping dragons when she tells them about their futures. It is believed that she chooses the first future she envisions. Whether it ends in riches or your death. Many scholars, scientists and other magicians have tried to replicate Aroa's abilities but to no avail. Her foresight into the future seems to be a gift only bestowed upon her, however, multiple people have reported other dragons with this remarkable ability.

BACKSTORY

Aroa chuckled to herself as she sat in front of her large golden hourglass. The sand inside was slowly making its way from one side of the hourglass to the other, it was swirling around in the bottom as if there was a massive sandstorm taking place in the bottom of the hourglass. "Very interesting." She purred, leaning forward to look closely at the sand inside. Her breath could be seen fogging up the glass slightly. Her eyes widened and she stood up, her gaze locked on the bottom of the hourglass. "No.. impossible." She hissed, sitting back down quickly and grabbing the bottom of the hourglass. She leaned forward, her nose pressed against it. "This soon? The hatchling isn't even.." She didn't finish her sentence and instead stood up quickly, grabbing the hourglass and securing it on her wingless back. She whipped around and rushed out of her cozy den. Rushing past her clan-mates she made her way to the front of the large cavern. She didn't stop to talk, her gaze was fixed on the blinding light outside. Sliding to a stop outside and twisted her head around, searching the horizon for any signs of... Aroa wasn't sure herself what she was looking for but she had seen a future which she knew couldn't come true. Aroa turned and hurried down the side of the mountain, leaving her family behind in search of the champion.. the champion of the ice.

_Early life_

____Growing up wingless always made Aroa conscious about hanging around other dragons. She was often bullied and teased for her deformities. She spent a large portion of her life hanging around her own den, rarely did she find the courage to venture out of her 'safety zone'. This often concerned her adoptive parent, Aleena. Her true lineage is unknown but Aroa often says she has visions of her parents and their cruelty. Aroa was found just inside the shadow realm, on the boarder of the plague realm. Aroa's adoptive mother is always very encouraging to Aroa, you can often times see Aroa talking with her mother demonstrating how close they are.

____As time marched on, many of the hatchlings that teased Aroa and called her names had been sent to serve under their reining god, the Shadowbinder. Seeing those hatchlings leave both pleased Aroa and concerned her, she was always fearful she was next. However, Aroa was never sent away and instead was taught about her special gift by her mentor and friend, Starwood. The Lair of the Hopeless Queen's current Arcane ambassador.
