((guess who's a babysitter?? she is!!! but yeah, watermelon is a babysitter. she takes care of hatchlings while they're young and their parents are busy and watches over them, offering tea and reading them bedtime stories. she's the safety of childhood for a lot of dragons here))

((she is ENDLESSLY grateful to Vertigo for helping her with the hatchlings. they tend to spend a lot of time together because of the, uh... shared jobs? so they get along well.))

((familiars name is kitty! v gentle. doesnt mind when kiddos tug on his fur & curls up w. them when theyre sad. carefully watches any who wander out of sight of the nests, a good boye))


((- she has a bunch of lanterns strapped to her wings so the kids can always see her. she never flies, anyway, she's always down there caring for them-- so she doesn't mind. (if the strings let them loose, they'll hover around her like a horde of fireflies, but then they could get lost. she'd rather just keep them on her.)))
