Mosspearl

((much like the other clumsy skydancers of the starting group, (cough cough Whisperfall and Yaara cough cough), Mosspearl takes pride in his appearance. however; his is a much... quieter, sort of pride. yes, he looks in mirrors, yes, he likes his reflection, and yes, he puts effort into keeping himself shimmering and delicate; but he's much less boastful about it. he prefers to silently watch the chaos of the other two, idly enjoying the quieter lairmates' company more than anything else.))

((he tends to get along well with Breezelight and Aster. despite being one of the first members of the lair, he's still younger than plenty of the other eldest, and so he doesn't speak up often, preferring to let others speak for him. (he also worries he may say something wrong.)))


((countering his pride in his appearance, moss doesn't actually seem to have pride in himself that much. with a difficulty in flying and learning new things, an avoidance for combat, and a struggle to speak up, he didn't truthfully have much to offer for any adopting him; so all he had was the capability to be "pretty." eventually, he'd stumbled into the icefields along with a band of travellers, and got separated from them in the middle of a blizzard.))

((the clan got 3 new companions that day! though it was still very small, mosspearl decided to stay after about 2 days and concluded that "yes, this would be safe." he's been here since the very start of it and, though he's still not confident in his words nor actions, he's known and greeted whenever he passes by. commonly a welcome presence, he's content with the life he leads.))


((he regularly helps around the lair, functioning as an extra set of claws when one is needed-- he runs into Fallendrop and The Goblin often this way. contrasting the difficulty with flight, he's very good at tracking down beetles, and plenty proficient at foraging for anything edible!))
