Biography
Lore (WIP)
You're meandering through the dense underbrush of the Tangled Wood hoping to somehow accidentally stumble upon the dragon you arranged to meet. You realized you were lost hours ago; the lack of light and the closeness of the trees disorienting most of your senses. Some ways off-how far you couldn't be sure-you heard the slight rushing of a river. You followed what you hoped was downriver; surely there would be some form of civilization at the end of the winding river. Thick mist clouded the air, although you could not ascertain its origins.
Grumbling, you scrunched up the useless parchment map in your claws, tossing it behind you carelessly. Mood dampening, you stared at your paws as you walked absentmindedly. Shortly, however, you noticed the untraveled earth had rather abruptly turned into a well-worn trampled path. You looked up, only to noticed the thinning of trees and an eerie glow ahead of you. Your footsteps paused as you debated whether or not to continue. Instinct, however, assured you it was safe, and so you carried on.
At what appeared to be the end of the path, there stood a decrepit building that appeared to be a tavern. From what you could tell it was rarely visited: the dark wood creaked beneath the pressure of the shingled roof. How it still stood, you weren't sure, but neither were you going to decline welcome warmth and perhaps food.
As you approached the doorway, the shadows themselves seemed to watch every move you make, flickering in and out as if following you. On the other hand, you could have sworn you saw a pair of silvery eyes watching from the safety of the shadows. Unsettled, you increased your speed to the door and put a paw on it to push it open. Just as you were about to enter, you turned around to face the shuffling that had come from behind you.
Now that the shape had come out of most of the shadows, you could faintly see the unmistakable outline of a cloaked Guardian, silvery eyes gleaming in amusement at an untold joke. The-she, as the Guardian was indeed female-she spoke with an arrogance that was rarely found in Sorneith:
"So you were able to find me. Let's get down to business."
