Deceptively quiet, Fairuz's quiet grace holds a hint of danger that warns of how deep the cold cruelty in her heart runs. Her fascination with the Shade long ago prompted her mates to separate from her, something she easily waved off, as they were a distraction from her studying into the mysteries that the darkness held. As she grew more powerful, she drew acolytes and similarly-minded dragons to the clan, forming a subsection of Brightclaw devoted to the Shade and its dark powers.

First came Nox, a young trickster, born of Brightclaw but seduced to Fairuz's side with the promise of power, power the Eleven had seen fit to grant his sister and not him. Sonna came to Fairuz next, the Shade-touched wildclaw having killed and escaped those who wished to cage her power. And finally, Faux joined them, touched by the Shade through her parents and devoted to protecting those who also followed the darkness.

Recently, Fairuz and her clan tried recruiting brothers Rabbit and HABIT to their cause, but HABIT rejected her offer, laughing in her face and sneering at her. The Brightclaw isn't quite sure what's so special about the newcomers, or why Fairuz didn't try to strike HABIT down for his insult, but there's now a tense air between the Shade-clan and the brothers, one that has all of Brightclaw on edge. 		light_2.png
