 BIOGRAPHY XXXNephthys came upon Calyx Coven during her travels. She decided to stay awhile and later pledged herself to the Coven after realizing she had taken a liking to the place. She still often goes out traveling the world and comes back to stay in the Coven for a few days at a time. The Unearthly Onyx Pendants that she wears have been enchanted so that if the Coven needs her assistance, Flumefax can touch a matching pendant he keeps with him. Her pendant will glow, alerting her that the Coven needs her. No matter where she is in Sornieth, if her pendant glows she will immediately travel back to the Coven. XXXThe Skydancer's background is not well known. Neph refuses to talk about it, and the only thing she has ever said about her past is that her childhood was full of trauma. She doesn't want or need pity. Unlike most Skydancers, she loves physical fights and battles in the Coliseum or with other dragons. She intentionally picks fights with dragons while out traveling and is often covered in bloody bandages. Her Cleaver is her favorite weapon, which she also uses to carve up meat to sell in villages and cities she comes across in her travels, as a way to earn treasure. XXXNeph is a no nonsense, sarcastic, flippant, and blunt dragon that can come across as super uncaring. She pretends not to care about other dragons but dearly loves the Coven and its members. When she first found the Coven, she got into a fight with Balthadios. The Guard Captain hasn't trusted her since and is especially suspicious of her constantly leaving the Coven, but Flumefax trusts the Skydancer for some reason. XXXShe met her mate, Thoth, in the Starfall Isles. Thoth had grown up there but was back visiting after a lengthy journey across Sornieth. The two Skydancers regaled one another with tales of their exploits. Nephthys was intrigued by Thoth, as she hadn't come across another Skydancer who was so skilled in physical battle. They traveled together for years, fighting side by side, before finally becoming mates. They were together when they found the Calyx Coven. Today, Thoth tends to stay behind in the Coven while Neph goes adventuring. XXXEmber is Neph's Searing Jackalope Familiar. They met in the Ashfall Waste. Nephthys realized the little rabbit creature could be useful for starting fires whenever she needed to cook something. The Jackalope has been with her ever since and is spoiled with delicious food and carried around on Neph's back. He absolutely loves getting his head scratched right between his horns. |
