B I O G R A P H Y

She remembers. Remembers the hard, bitter life she had gone through, before she founded this clan. As she looks around the clan, proudly, a single spark of her past rushes into her mind. Tears flood down her face.

Who would believe that the leader of Clan Lux, bearer of the Light Crown, had a torturous, near-death history? Only her mate knows and understands.

On 9th October, 2018, a single egg was born. Instead of the usual light pink colour of the eggs that could be found in the Starfall Isles, this egg only had a little trace of pink on the egg, with the majority of the egg shell being yellow in colour, and luminous. The egg illuminated the whole house with a strong light. The 2 dragons in the house, which were the egg's parents, gasped in horror, not knowing what they have done. Afraid that this was a signal of a curse by the Light deity, Lightweaver, onto the citizens of the Starfall Isles, the parents, in the dead of the night, took the egg. They travelled through the Scarred Wasteland, in hopes of reaching the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where they could throw the egg into the Ocean, and let the Ocean consume the egg and drown its light. Neither parents realised the tiny hole in the dragon's egg. That was where this dragon, upon maturing into a hatchling, will watch silently as her parents took her on this perilous trip.

The Scarred Wasteland welcomed there with the stink of dead bodies, the smell of blood and gore, the sight of dragons wearing apparels adorned with dragon bones. Frightened and helpless, the parents looked back, wanting to go back to their safe, cozy Starfall Isles, and find another way to dispose of this egg, when they caught the Plague's dragons' attention. Eager to get more dragon bones to decorate their apparels, a family of Plague dragons who were passing by surrounded and circled them, grinning eagerly. Both her parents' eyes widened in fear. Their eyes made contact.

"Please..."

And the small hatchling blanked out.

Day 3. The hatchling looked around. The smell of blood was less strong now, but the surroundings were still red in colour. Her shell was slightly dented, the hole slightly bigger. She had almost outgrowned her cozy egg, and was ready to hatch. Wait... that means that that was Day 6. She had blanked out for 3 days! Suddenly, a red dragon came into view, and the hatcling stifled a fearful gasp. However, this dragon, a female coatl, was unlike the other Plague dragons. She was wearing a fresh flower lei on her head, and wore several colourful corsages on her wrists. As she turned to look at the egg, she saw the hatchling's curious eyes staring at her. Slowly, she walked towards the egg. At this moment, the hatchling felt its shell cracking and breaking. Oh no! Not at this moment! It thought, and the shell broke into 2 halves. The light from its shell dulled, but an illuminous light rained down onto its surroundings from her body. That was the signal that she was a Light dragon. The coatl, unsurprised, kneeled in front of the hatchling. "Don't worry, you're safe with me." Her voice was smooth, gentle. She gave off a flowery aura.
