Octolus

The Matriarch of the clan, she is known as the Queen of the Scales, and is the one in charge of managing the clan and its resources. She is proud and noble, with an unusual sense of humor. Octolus seems to have been created by the Shadowbinder herself, though no one can be certain. She holds a secret wish close to her heart - that she might have been carved from the shadows of an mystic and old willow tree that she played near when she was young.

She favors the surreal and poetic personally, but is great at finding ways to love every thing about those in her clan. She is known as kindhearted, exuberant, and a touch motherly by her clan and flight, but haughty, wary, and scornful to those who have not gained -or not bothered to gain- her trust.

However, that is not all their is to Octolus, the Queen of the Scales. She is also adventurous and violent at heart, and loves to fight in the coliseum alongside her trusted mate. She is a skilled battle-mage, and proves it in each of her fights.

She is also known as the Mother of the clan; this means that each dragon can call her their parent if they ever need to.
