Place Within Clan
Deathsovereign
The Deathsovereign is the monarch of the clan. They defend their placement at the top of the hierarchy with their teeth and claws, with challenges often ending in death for the loser - although that is just a trend, not a rule as a whole. All governing of the clan depends on the Deathsovereign, as their word is the ultimate and final law. It's up to the Deathsovereign to decide the migration patterns and travel routes of the clan, as well as overseeing aspects such as alliances, battles, trades, and breeding.

Personality
As expected of a dragon of his rank and ghastly appearance, he's somewhat of a brute. Found in his element in arenas and the battlefield, he's useless in most social situations - though he's surprisingly adept at negotiation and trade between two hostile clans. His ability to calm down clans on the brink of war is surprising, given his preference for the battlefield, but he knows how to pick his battles and he picks them well. His talent for battle strategy has an odd translation into the less violent aspects of his life, to both the amusement and detriment of others. Many tread carefully around him in fear of getting plotted against, or just being on his bad side in general, as he has a short temper as well. He can get somewhat obsessive about things if they catch his attention, which can include anything from a particularly interesting looking bird to wanting a whole clan dead.

History
Hades was born on the rim of the Wyrmwound to a small band of rogue wildclaws. Due to breeding, many of them were oversized beyond what was normal for their species; his large wings were seen as something he would swiftly grow into when he was a hatchling, and were extremely impressive, making them believe that he would grow to the largest of his siblings. It became apparent that it wasn't true as they began to grow into their wings, and his remained much, much larger than they should have been compared to the rest of him. His siblings were quick to outgrow him in size, though their wings were still smaller than his were. The oddity of his wings made his treatment within the group unfavorable, and it began to imprint itself in his mind as an obsession with birds, wings, and flight. When he was younger he would often be seen sneaking out of camp past the guard just to collect the discarded carrion of birds, decorating his feathers, haunches, and sides with rotting flesh and feathers. The rot began to sink into him from the contaminating nature of the land around the Wyrmwound, and his own bones began to be exposed, and his own flesh began to rot, but only in the areas were he had decorated his body with the carrion. He took pride in preening his new rotting feathers, and flaunting them - they would rise and ruffle when he was angry or upset, causing unease in those that would usually upset him. His transformation was the cause of his exile, and he ventured out beyond the bound of the Wyrmwound seeking something better and greater for himself.

Quotes
"We could do this one of two ways. Pretend to nod, to smile, to agree that we're both friends, only to have that anger bubbling on the inside, ready to boil over at any moment and turn the ground black with blood. Or... we could just be honest. We hate each other. We both know it. We also both know we need each other if we want to stay alive."
