Gwaihir

Born in the starfall isles, Gwaihir hatched from an abandoned egg sitting alone out in the middle of nowhere. It was a miracle his egg had survived out in the open for so long, but miracles tend to happen quite often when aided by arcane energy.

The first thing Gwaihir saw as he emerged was the vast expanse of the starry sky. He was transfixed by the endless glittering lights, and sat staring for hours. When he was eventually found by our clan, they saw that the very patterns of the stars themselves had been etched onto his feathers forever. Fixated on the sky, Gwaihir set out to go up and see the stars for himself. He blindly jumped off a crystal spire, plummeting towards the ground as his new hatchling wings failed him. His saving grace was a sudden torrent of wind, sweeping him up into a storm-like gale which he tumbled and tossed, until a young dragon in the Wind territories took notice of the storm and went to investigate...
