Biography
Seriadne had never been good with directions. She should never have wandered off from her clan. But wander she did. And while she did miss her family (so much), it was thrilling in a way to have her own private adventure. But as the days slipped by, she grew tired, hungry, scared, and lonely, oh so lonely. There was no lack of plants to be seen, as she wandered deeper into the Viridian Labyrinth, but after one foul bout of sickness (what did she eat?), Seriadne opted instead to go hungry rather than potentially poison herself from the unknown plants. What she did recognize, she ate, but there wasn't much familiarity at all in this part of the forest. Who knew the plant life could be so different? And oh, she was so thirsty. It was so humid, but that didn't help her at all. She couldn't just lick the moisture from the air, much as she wished. But then...
Water. Trickling. Not a bird call, not the irregular crush of leaves underfoot. No, this was definitely the sound of running water. Seri followed the sound of it. Tantalizingly close now, and... There! A crystal clear pool of water fed by a small waterfall lay there, waiting for her, only for her. The clarity of the water lasted about two seconds, until suddenly a tundra came charging in, kicking up dirt and mud, drinking the water even as she dove to escape the heat of the day. That pool of water was her halcyon haven. And, oh! What luck! There was moss nearby, that she knew she could eat. A nice space to rest, too, inside a massive hollowed out tree. Rotted away by disease, it seemed, but even the corpse of the tree bore life in the form of vines snaking up the sides.
This would be her home. This much she knew.
