Biography
Mate: Leen
Story written by PocketCat:
Born near the wyrmwound itself, Ares was brought into a world that revolved around survival and death. From a very early age he watched disease ridden dragons take their final breath and the local fauna (however little of it there was) struggle to cope with some of the most dangerous diseases in the world. Blessed with plague affinity, he knew that the only diseases strong enough to bring him down were the ones that festered inside the bubbling wyrmwound cauldron itself. With that knowledge, and being a thriving dragon in a world full of death and despair, Ares thought of himself as invincible. He trained to become a fearsome warrior to server under the plaguebringer herself. He had vivid fantasies of him spearheading advances to spread the plaguebringer's pathogens to new territories to claim them in the name of the plague flight.
His first task was to obtain ancient tomes from the arcane flight on the starfall isles. The arcane flight is a flight that hungers for knowledge and records everything. Ares needed to get tomes regarding ancient diseases that were eradicated eons ago to bring them back into a world that was unprepared to hand them. As he headed to one of the many large archives, he was stopped by a dragon by the name of Leen. Completely unaware of Ares's malicious intent, Leen greeted him as a visitor to the starfall isles. Ares was so awestruck by Leen's beauty and hospitality that he no longer desired to use his might to claim land for the plaguebringer. Instead, he vowed to use his might to protect his love, Leen.
