Not many know the story of Temero. Scarlet, the clan geist and leader, brought him in one day, his whole body covered head to talon in glowing green chemicals. He wasn't expected to make it but somehow he did...but not without major effects. He grew up, his scales never losing their glowing incandescence and giant patches of radioactive stones grew all over his body. He never speaks and is always hidden away in his personal cavern far from the main gathering cave. The path to his cave is coated in radioactive waste and only Scarlet can enter and exit to give him food, lest another dragon wants an extra set of limbs or massive boils, they steer clear. When he does leave, he is seen wearing toxin plumes that partially hide his radioactive body and avoid accidental touching. His claws glow a bright green, the product of his constant construction of many dangerous poisons and toxins. He even has a green orb that he grew not long after he was brought in that always lights his way, even in pitch black. The only living thing that can follow him into his home is his faithful curious kettle familiar, Potter. It always leaks remains of poisons it had been filled with from his master but doesn't seem the least bit affected by the radioactive poisons. Scarlet sometimes summons Temero, to aquire a bottle of his newest mix or even, medicines. Many dragons wonder how such a toxic dragon produces things that heal but don't complain when their alignment is cured. What is this dragons story? Well...read on and discover.

The little Imperial was born on a beautiful windy day in the Windswept Plateau. A beautiful coatl female with purple skin approached and nuzzled the newborn, who squeaked and let out a very unnaturally annoyed noise. The coatl lifted her head, looking shocked and looked over at the massive male that approached, a glowing purple ring shining on his left eye and big branches covered in white leaves adorned his shoulders. "Is something the matter?" He asking, resting his glowing pink eyes on the child and smiling. The hatchling hissed at his happy expression, his toxin colored eyes flashing with a very unnatural look for a wind dragon. The father frowned. "Now young one. I am your father and that's no way-" The baby had had enough. He reached up and clawed the males face, leaving behind four jagged lines across his face. "Honey no-" But something about the joyful imperial father had changed. His eyes slitted and he bared his long fangs, striking. The baby screamed as he was lifted into the air and thrown far into the air. He was grabbed again, his fathers fangs sinking into his soft skin and tearing open huge wounds. The little one's mother shrieked but didn't go after her mate, a look of anguish and fear on her face. "Fine. Let's take you were you'll never hurt another happy soul again." The son's father roared and began to speed through the air, away from his crying mother and where the ground slowly began to turn red. They passed over smelly red fields, and took a break in a great expanse of sand, where the male shoved his child into a rib cage and locked him away; and he slept. The baby lay still, his breath ragged and his anger growing evermore. Several hours passed and the father awakened, grabbing up the child with no remorse for his wounds and leaping into the air once more. The baby closed his eyes for awhile until he felt his father begin to hover. He immediately wished he hadn't. They were many many heights above a glowing green pit of bubbling liquid. The Imperial turned his son to face him and grinned maliciously. "Goodbye you wretched beast." Then he dropped him, laughing evilly. The baby gave out a loud cry of anger and pain before closing his eyes, ready to meet his fate. Then, before he hit the pool, he was grabbed out of the air and an furious roar of his father sounded from far above. The child went limp and massive claws curled around him and hot breath began to warm his scales. There was more movement then long claws were running down his soft body, stopping at his bleeding bite marks and rips. "My child...my young handsome child." Came a soft hissing voice and the little Imperial hissed back, this time very tired and actually grateful for the mysterious dragons soft touch. Then it became harder to breath and the little dragon knew his time was up, even before it had even started. "No..child..you will live!" Then he was submerged into burning liquids. His eyes flew open and his whole body burst into flame. He screamed, swallowing the toxins and choking, his mind going blank. Yet...he didn't drown. The claws let go of him and he curled up, breathing the burning goo like polluted air. And there he writhed. He didn't know how much time passed and every moment he was wishing for death. Finally, after what felt like thousands of years, he was gently scooped up and pulled out of the toxin pool, choking and gasping on real air. The soft claws held him over the pull until he had ridded his insides of the toxic liquid. He was then set softly on the ground, still covered in poison. "Goodbye my child..You will be given a beautiful home...treat your caregiver with respect and love for she will keep you safe.." The voice faded and the little Imp was now alone. This is where Scarlet found him.
