Elena was elegant in life, and had the rare privilege to remain beautiful in death.

Once, she had a comfortable life, filled with pretty things brought together by her own claws. Once, she had a home, made in the remaining veins of a dead volcano. Once, she'd had love, and the promise of bliss for the days to come.

The promise died with Elena, when her lover slit her throat.

Still, she remains as a spirit, ended before her time and not ready to move on. What Elena plans next in her state of undeath is not certain, as any desired revenge against her lover must have been exacted already. Her existence is unobtrusive, with the only consistent sign of her presence being the flickering of flames, and the brief change of color as she passes.

Surely it will do no harm to allow her to haunt here?
