"remember, it's all about me." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ a civilization hidden by the Shrieking Wild's heavy overgrowth, untouched by the advances of both the sun's light and the technological grasps of dragon civilization. A city of moss and stone, Militipan is a society of individuals who follow a strict social hierarchy, members identified as nobles (pipiltin) or commoners (macehualtin). Consisting of government leaders, high-level priests, and military commanders, the upper-class lives within the stone temples shared with royalty. Priests possess their own internal class system and are expected to be celibate and to refrain from trivial pleasures. Failure to do so will result in serious punishment or death. The macehualtin involve landowners, judges, and military commanders. The more jewelry a dragon has, the higher they are respected in the community. Pipiltin usually have set uniforms, while macehualtin will wear whatever fits their occupation best. The commoner class consists of farmers, artisans, merchants, and low-level priests. Artisans and traveling merchants enjoy the greatest amount of wealth and prestige within this class. Commoners generally reside in calpulli (also referred to as calpolli), or homes of shaped clay and carefully-sculpted outsides. Merchants, hunters, fisherman, and farmers are the most common occupations; the broadest being the different specialties a merchant can possess. Royalty live within Hitinthulac; a lavish pyramid that hosts a series of rooms and galleries within. The emperor's word is law, yet a series of advisors/priests seem to have a hold over what exactly leaves the dragon's maw. Discovered upon the outskirts of the aztec-esque city, dragons immediately assumed that an egg cloaked by fronds was in fact a godsend rather then some mother who was unable to care for a hatchling. The infertility of the emperor's mistress was met with constant prayer and goodwill, a reason most believed an egg was granted to them in the first place. Although the son of the emperor and empress, Matlalihuitl was raised by the claws of the various advisors that shared their home; their influence on the young prince's mind supposedly a prime factor towards the "unduely sacrifice" of his parents. Warped by the needs and wills of those supposed to offer trivial bits of advice, Matlal is encouraged to indulge in his wealth - often spending time enjoying lavish meals
