This is a picture of my Familiar. Her name is Sylphie. She's a Snowflake Nymph from the Cloudscrape Crags, which explains why she's Anyway. She's really bossy and demanding and she never lets me pick where we go next. AND she's really annoying. But I guess I'd be... kind of lost without her. Wow that was actually painful to write. I'm never doing that again. |
"We were just at the Runic Library of Starwood Strand," Laioso gripes as he wings southeast, leaving Snowrush and Princess Moonshine far behind. "Can't we take a break? I heard the warrior Malzahar was near the Molten Scar!"
"No!" A little snowflake nymph thwaps him between the eyes. "We're going to the Sunbeam Ruins!"
"But Sylphie—"
"No!" She thwaps him harder. "Sunbeam Ruins."
Laioso sighs. "Sunbeam Ruins. Hooray."
"Oh? So you're royalty? I thought royalty was supposed to be... majestic." Laioso gives Princess Moonshine a dismissive once-over.
Moonshine bristles. "Excuse you? I'm very majestic!" She begins to work herself up to a good indignant shout.
Snowrush begins to visibly panic. He didn't plan for this!
"Oh no," Sylphie whispers. "Lai, why are you such a jerk?"
Laioso wants to know the same thing. Why did Sylphie let him open his big mouth? This is what happens when you don't tell your friends they're meeting royalty, Snowrush!!
Sylphie found this while we were scavenging in the Cloudscrape Crags the other day. So far she's built it a tiny shrine and has written a bunch of notes on it. I don't know how to tell her it's just one of the hatchling's practice sculptures. Icepops is a pretty common subject for our art, after all. |
This Ice Runestone is my prized possession. I found it when I was a hatchling looking for bone jars in the Snowsquall Tundra. They're really rare, so it's a great find! I can never let Sylphie know I have one; she's obsessed with runes. |
This is my favorite childhood toy! It's the only one I've kept with me this long. It's in Icepops' image, so Mom made about a million back at the nest. He's kind of falling apart a little, so I make sure to take good care of him. Sylphie likes to curl up with him when she takes naps. |
