Bio: No one would like looking at their failure, being reminded of it day after day after day. No one who wasn't masochistic, anyway, and Arcblast had never considered herself as such. She had a lot of reasons to justify leaving Olivia's newly-reunited clan (despite the fact her children decided to stay). But chief among them was certainly that. She was tired of being reminded of her failure. One summoning spell gone wrong--which wasn't even her fault, by the way! That fool of a pearlcatcher had messed it up at a crucial moment!--and no one looked at her the same. They thought she was dangerous, untrustworthy.

Well, fine! Arcblast had never been truly content in that little clan, anyway. So, she left. Some chose to come with her, and that was fine, provided they understood the first and only true rule of her life: never settle down. Her clan was to be a wandering clan, always moving from place to place, any lair they made temporary, for a night or two, maybe a couple weeks at the most if they had need.

Arcblast still practices magic, and she seems to attract some magical oddities, which is all right with her. She can then study those dragons, as they travel, alongside the new spells she's always testing. But all of that comes second to her main focus: herblore. Arcblast already had a robust knowledge of all the useful herbs that grew in the Viridian Labyrinth, but now she's expanding that knowledge by studying herbs all across Sornieth, wherever they travel to next. She keeps extensive notes about everything, magically stored in glowing crystals, from which she can view the information at will with a word.

When the clan needs some extra coin, Arcblast is still a decent illusionist and can put on shows to dazzle and delight, but...her heart is no longer truly in such things. It's a distraction. (It reminds her of the past, and she's done her best to put all that out of her mind.)
