The rumors have come to an end. The truth emerges, humbled yet triumphant.
The Riasolu family was slated for disaster. Triplets was a sign of ill fortune. At least, it was among their culture. The Viscount of the Riasolu household did not want a life of shame and exile for his beloved daughters and wife, so he moved the family to a quieter region where he owned a decently kept estate used for summer retreats. Now it had become their permanent retreat. As children, the Riasolu sisters--beautiful Jazelle, brilliant Jeidyss, and gentle Jesha--were happy as they could be. Each dreamed of a future where they contributed to the world through their skills.
However, fate told them otherwise. Jesha's death struck them all to the core. The entire family mourned for weeks, but Jei seemed to take it the hardest. It was during this time that Jazelle and Jeidyss, who normally argued or butted heads over almost everything, drew closer, finding warmth in each other's presence in the absence of their third whole.
The remaining sisters grew older and began bringing life to their dreams, now as a tribute to their sister; nothing would stop Jazelle and Jeidyss from obtaining the careers they'd dreamed of as innocent children. However, they had too much history in that area for either of the girls to do anything. Determined and stubborn, Jazelle and Jeidyss set off for another place to reach their dreams anonymously.
Jazelle was the first to reach her dream; her face became the cover brand on almost all beauty and fashion products; her name was the one on every mouth where fashion and cosmetics was concerned.
Jeidyss took a little longer to realize her dream. She joined the kingdom's royal Terra Guard as their pilot on call; not exactly the position Jei had been aiming for, but it was close enough. Jei had made a close of the guard's captain, establishing a platonic relationship that would bump her up to active pilot for the Terra Guard. The others were suspicious of her motives, jealous of her raw genius with machines, and began spreading rumors to topple Jeidyss from her promising career. The tragic fall of the Guard's captain was the linchpin to their plans. Jeidyss was framed, cornered; no one offered a friendly hand in her dark hour. The other members of Terra succeeded in the ensuing trials, getting Jeidyss banned by royal decree from the Terra Guard. However, their own reputation began faltering after that.
Jeidyss went into hermit-mode after that, going underground with her mech work, taking on commissions from high-end buyers only. One of her reliable patrons was the King of __. Jeidyss was funded by the king to experiment and build all she wanted to her creative heart's content in exchange that she head the king's own building projects when required. It was a deal masterfully crafted by them both; a 'you scratch my back I'll scratch yours' contract.
