Iman is a will-o'-the-wisp. As such, she has the ability to imitate any form and abilites of any being. For each new form she takes some month to fully control it, but the heart and elemental symbol of a will-o'-the-wisp stays at the same place. Since each will-o'-the-wisp has their heart and symbol at a different place, it is sometimes difficult to spot them and even more difficult to kill them.
Iman's heart is in her lunges, her elemental symbol on her back.

Iman and Adin were born out of the fusion of different ghosts at nearly the same time. They stayed by each other's side, and the smaller and scared Adin was protected by the naturally gifted Iman.
When they met Samael, he offered them help in their growth, showing them different demons and bodies, they would not have been able to observe otherwise. But, on the other hand, Samael expected their help, made them take shapes that he needed to reach his goals.
Iman stayed, at first, out of curiosity, but soon felt the need to leave. She asked Samael to let them go, and he offered the will-o'-the-wisps one last order. Iman took the shape of Damian as she was told - but Iman and Adin were deceived.
Samael killed Iman in Damian's shape, used her dead body as false trail for Snow, as no one could see in first glance that she was a will-o'-the-wisps.
