Hatchlings born to The Stricken are trained in warfare and survival skills. Growing up seeing the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer worshiped side by side means they are surprisingly openminded to new ideas, but tend to be blasé about death and violence which can come across as callous to dragons from other flights.
Parchment’s parents were a Oracle and a Guard, she would help her mother by acting as her scribe and filing her visions in the clan archive. Spending so much time in the archives has given her a love of books and of peaceful places. She dreams of becoming a librarian and has been practicing her 'be quiet' stare in the mirror for months.
