Cedalia hunts for her beloved Osseo, bringing him back the finest bones to crack in his fires. She prides herself on detecting beasts that bear portents, slaying them, and watching Osseo reveal the future contained in their marrow. She often ventures out with Imamiah and Xidachane; between the three of them, they are a match for nearly anything they meet.

She has discovered the longings of her heart are satisfied by a rather unusual charge: not a place, nor a dragon, nor a physical object, but the well-being and prosperity of the clan as a whole. It is to that end that she collects the portents for Osseo and makes sure everyone's food needs are provided for.
