Biography
Sunburst
Uh-oh, looks like this golden boy wandered a little too far from his home lair (DragonSister, 288014) and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

My Story
On a warm sunny spring day Sunburst let himself float away. Out of the Twisting Crescendo, away from his mate Aurum. In hindsight, he did not quite know what came over him. The imperial had had many beautiful clutches with her, despite the tense relationships between their breeds. But she would understand. Maybe a wind dragon's need to travel had rubbed off on him, but Sunburst longed to see his home. The Starfall Isles. The Observatory. He could not remember the last time he marveled at their beauty. Slowly but surely, the imperial started his journey towards the edges of the Windswept Plateau.
---
It had been weeks since his visit home to the Starfall Isles, and after enjoying the beauty of his homeland, he continued to wander around Sornieth.
He approached the vast purple lands of the Shadowbinder and ducked in for a brief stay. His landing, not nearly as graceful as he thought it would be, tangled him up in some nasty thorn vines, and no matter how much he pulled, it only seemed to wrap around tighter. He cried out for help, but it seemed pointless, there wasn't much life around the area. He was growing both tired and hungry when night fell, casting everything into the strangest shade of darkness. His eyes were adjusting to the odd coloring when a ghost appeared in the distance. It moved with such speed he'd never seen before, and he was surprised to see it come closer to him before morphing into a dragon. The other dragon worked quickly to free him before placing a claw over his mouth and leading the way to a secluded cavern. He crawled into the make-shift nest before falling asleep. His eyes opened to the harsh brightness that the sun shone in. He was alone. Deciding it was for the best, he crawled out of the cave and took flight.
---
Before he knew it, he was going back to the windswept plateau. He stopped at a small clan be found secluded in mist; it was a marvel he could find it at all. The dragons there were kind to him, allowing him to stay with them for a short time. They gave him food and shelter, and when he told them he was going to leave them, he was given a friend to travel with, so his nights wouldn’t be quite so lonely.
