Gwirithiel
Storyteller Amiable | Benevolent | Contemplative | Earnest “It is worse to stay where one does not belong at all than to wander about lost for a while and looking for the psychic and soulful kinship one requires” Gwirithiel always begins her stories by first staring into the Haunted Orb which sits upon her desk. She scrys for a few moments, waiting for something from her subconscious to come to the surface. She has much to convey to others, because her life has been filled with both extreme tragedy and transcendent joy. The stories she tells, like all stories passed down to each successive generation, have an intrinsic power to heal. Sometimes, she hands the orb to a troubled individual, asking them to relax and tell her what they see in the orb's shifting, undulating mist. From here she gleans what they most need to hear, and proceeds to relate a tale which empowers the individual in every way possible. She came to the Enclave as a broken soul. She's not quite sure how she discovered it, as she was just wandering the Sunbeam Ruins after having left her last clan. The very trees seemed to be singing to her, and her curiosity led her forth into a gentle Redwood grove. The sound of the trees was that of a thousand tiny bells, subtly ringing and filling Gwirithiel with wonder and happiness. She followed this feeling until she found herself in a cathedral-like clearing, whereupon she discovered an enormous clan of dragons. Buttercup, the clan's empathic counselor sensed her arrival and her need for healing. Smiling, he approached her slowly and simply said, "Welcome home." |
