2018 - 2020
I started FR after watching my daughter play since 2014 (still active). She had so much fun that I decided to give it a try. It didn't take long to become hooked. I went through several phases (They're too pretty to dress, Look, my own hatchery!, and I'll never get to 10kg). I built my lair, purged, and rebuilt my lair several times, all the while getting a little further along the serious player path. I'm going to start keeping a record of the significant milestones now that I've had a few years to get the feel of the site and now things are worth noting.

Dustcarve Dig - 2021
I absolutely loved this event. Not only was it fun, but the Obelisks are outstanding! I looooove them. I was hoping for some kind of Foo type, and FR didn't disappoint. I'm saving one each of the event chests just because it was so fun. I have my own Obelisk from the event that I'm keeping forever. Her name is Atta (8 in Swedish, a nod to my heritage), but she's definitely a scatter project. I'll find a good bio template, too. What a great anniversary event. Thanks FR! Happy 8th! (I'm so looking forward to their 10th anniversary!!)

NotN - 2021
Best yet for me. I reached 3 main goals this year. First, I sold Aviva (5 digit Imp) because she's Lightning, not Light. I received 60kg for her from Pulse. That was huge, since I've been trying to sell or trade her for a while. Next I was able to finish paying off Artemein (Spellbook), my 4th 5 digit Gen 1 (with Light colors, too!), and last, I finally finished Atta, my animated Obelisk girl. I've had her on the back burner since June during the Dustcarve Dig. I found an amazing custom skin (5kg) on the AH and rescattered her to match. She came out better than I hoped. She's my most expensive scatter project yet at 40 scatters, but the result is well worth it. I would do it again.

As for currency, I was able to retain the 60kg from Aviva even though I spent 10kg on Artemein and Atta. I just happened to look on the Items for Sale forum and saw a Light Sprite for offers. I offered 50kg (that's what I had left), and the person accepted. I then listed it on the AH for 60kg, and it sold within 2 days. So I was able to recover the 10kg I spent on my dergs. I now have 60kg in my vault waiting for either a 5 digit Light Imp or a 4 digit Light any. Those are my 2 current FR goals. I'm building my bank to add to it by grinding for chests. It's slow but steady, around 1kg a day. After NotN I may go back to DV to supplement. That was good during the summer and fall. I think I still have some high end items like hatchables, etc.
