Airis


Airis is the clan's priestess. She tends the clan's shrine and altar of offerings that are devoted to the goddess Gladekeeper. Airis leads all the clan's rituals and ceremonies, and provides spiritual guidance to anyone who requests it. She is greatly respected among her clan members, and many of the females see her as a role model.

She is fascinated by ancient tradition, history and culture. Almost all the books she owns are about the subject and she likes to study them during her free time. Airis is surprisingly old fashioned for her young age.

Most of the spells she knows are for shielding, supporting or show for festivies. She summons magical blue butterflies that she controls whenever she casts a spell.

Usually there isn't many visitors to the shrine. It's a place where the clan occasionally gathers to praise the Gladekeeper, leave their offerings and light up an incense or lantern. Airis still keeps the shrine in pristine condition every day, even if nobody would come to visit that day or that week even. To her surprise, there's at least one person who she has been enjoying the shrine with lately - and it's no other than the stoic and laconic leader of defence forces, Colossus. The two have gotten quite familiar with each other and found that they have common interest in books and poetry. Colossus has recently become uncharacteristically talkative and more open with her, and allowed Airis to see a little softer side of him.

She's start to become fond of Colossus, but her duty as the clan's priestess presses her not to get too close with anyone and focus her devotion solely to the goddess Gladekeeper.
