The fiance of Damao, he wishes for his wife to be less distant with him. He admires her greatly- her sharp wit and duty are very attractive- but he almost wishes she was less independent. He knows she is distracted with something, but she never says anything of it. As much as he tries to help her with her stress, she always seems so prickly. Although they were mated in an arranged marriage, he wonders how much she truly cares for him.

Damao and her father kept her affair a secret from Isnir's family. She was presented as a maiden for the benefit of his family. She swallowed all her pride in keeping up the farce, as much as it tore her heart apart. Damao hates the physical aspects of the relationship, uncomfortable with how close she must be to him, to be a proper child of her father.
