Thexa, Bane of the Taken
A very close personal friend of Mara Sov both before and during her time as Queen of the Reef, she would in times of great danger and threat act as Mara's double (though to Mara's secret displeasure and constant worry). She, like her comrade Araciar, survived the destruction of the Awoken fleet and was one of the few that knew that Mara was not dead, she was simply walking in another reality, fighting another battle. Thexa is also one of the few that was aware that she was passing orders along to Araciar, especially in times of great struggle for their people or him personally, straining with the powers he had been subjected to by Oryx. She survived the Taken War that followed, taking down many a Taken officer and becoming known as the Bane of the Taken. Thexa often takes her frustrations out in the matches of the Prison of Elders and has built quite a reputation for it; the only foe ever to best her within the Prison was Kovu, before he was released. On occasion she has the Wardens allow the 'escape' of a prisoner just for Thexa to hunt them down, beat them around, and throw them back in their cell, mostly unharmed.
