Role: Thanatologist
Pyrestorm is the one in charge of handling the remains of dragons who have died. Once a member of the village has passed, she has the task of cleaning and preparing the body, planning the funeral, and then cremating the deceased dragon. After cremation, if the dragon's next of kin wish, they are given the ashes; all other ashes are stored in a communal mausoleum.

Numerous rituals are performed during every step of seeing a dragon off from the mortal plane, some by Pyrestorm alone, some with other dragons who assist her with her tasks, others performed with friends and family members. As well as being the one who oversees all the funerary rites and procedures, Pyrestorm is also responsible for keeping the communal mausoleum clean and free from any sort of corruption that might seek to settle itself into the remains of deceased dragons.
